Laura VanZante

Laura’s commitment to excellence is exemplified by her Certified Meeting Professional designation since 2004. Beyond her professional achievements, she is deeply involved in nurturing the next generation of event planners. Laura actively participates in the Kansas State University Business School’s Executive Mentoring Program, where she mentors students with a passion for event planning. Her dedication extends to providing internship opportunities, fostering a hands-on learning experience. Recognized for her exceptional mentorship, Laura was honored with the KSU Executive Mentor of the Year award in 2016. She extends her influence to the local community by being an active mentor in the Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) in the Blue Valley School District, guiding aspiring business professionals. She has presented numerous times at both KSU and CAPS, sharing her wealth of knowledge with eager minds.

In her personal life, Laura resides in a suburb of Kansas City with her husband, Ted, and their beautiful family – daughter Sammy, son Blake, and their mini-labradoodle, Kona. Laura loves all things Kansas City! She is a passionate supporter of Kansas State University – Go Wildcats! – and loves cheering on the Chiefs and the Royals. On a slightly smaller scale, you can find her on the bleachers watching her kids play numerous sports year-round. She also loves to travel and spend quality time with family and friends.
